International Criminal Law
We represent and give counsel to individuals, foreign states, and national and international companies regarding the collection of evidence in criminal matters filed with foreign courts, cases of extradition and international cooperation, presentations before the Inter-American Commission and Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and the International Criminal Court, and regarding the application of criminal competency in complex matters occurred in different jurisdictions.
We are also qualified to conduct programs for the prevention of fraud crimes, corruption and justice administration in governmental offices, as well as in international agencies, such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Political asylum or refuge: Act No.26,165 establishes that those petitioning refuge are entitled to an attorney for the whole of the claim process. We attend to cases before the CePaRe, the competent authority.
